My local parish council posted an advert for a web designer to create the new village website. After submitting a proposal and attending a selection panel, Keystrokes Web Hosting Services was chosen.
The brief was for 15 pages to cover areas for the Parish Council, The Curry Rivel News, Forum, Banner Advertising, Local Events. The site was to be delivered in phases with the first phase funded by the Parish Council.
Joomla CMS was chosen as the engine to pull everything together with the site taking serveral months to build and agree intial content. The site went lice 1st December 2009 and is seeing daily registrations from the village community.
